Getting to Penticton at a glance
Most visitors arrive by car from Vancouver or by air through one of two airports. Penticton Airport (YYF) sits on the south edge of the city, and Kelowna Airport (YLW) is a longer drive to the north. Once you are here, the lakeside and downtown areas are easy to cover, and a car becomes useful for the wineries, the Rail Trail trailheads and day trips.
The table below compares the main routes. Times are rough guides without traffic or weather.
